"... and the road becomes my bride. I am stripped of all but pride.
So in her I do confide. And she keeps me satisfied.
Gives me all I need and with dust in throat I crave.
Only knowledge will I save. To the game you stay a slave.
Rover wanderer nomad vagabond. Call me what you will...
But I'll take my time anywhere. Free to speak my mind anywhere...
And I'll redefine anywhere. Anywhere I may roam ...

What's New?

A quick escapade to Maidanahalli Blackbuck sanctuary for a photo shoot of the beautiful Antilope and the amazing birdlife within the sanctuary. This was followed by an outing from Firetide to Sivanasamudram for the Gaganachukki and Barachukki waterfalls. We had a blast, especially at the Barachukki, where we could get right underneath the water falls.

Another small road trip to Nagarhole, Thirunelli and Kushal Nagar. It was more of a leisurely trip and we still have a few more places to cover in Coorg / Kodagu.

Completed the trip log for my first long bike trip to Kozhikode, about 8 years after it happened! It was fun re-living those moments and sharing it with Ashi, Vishal, Rajeev and Ajay.

It was a great relief to hit the roads, once again in the Versa after such a long time. This time the destinations were Hampi & North East Karnataka, including Aihole, Pattadakal, Badami, Gol Gumbaz @ Bijapur and forts @ Gulbarga and Bidar. The trip was 5 days long and spanned 1705kms.
